Bio

Well, hello. I've finally gotten around to making one of these new-fangled LiveJournal thangs. I'm in my final year as an English/Creative Writing major and work part-time as a Veterinary Technician. Yes, I'm aware that my occupation doesn't match my major. No, I don't want to tell you what I'm going to do with that background because I have no idea. In between school, work and being a generally confused 22-year-old, I write, play guitar, express adoration for my wonderful pets (The Pirate, Lily and Fritzie) and worry that my house will never be clean.

I love being involved in local music, whether it be as a band member or show-goer. My town has a thriving metal scene, a lively indie-rock scene, an up-and-coming hardcore scene and a dying punk scene. Being connected to people who fight for their causes and share a common interest is an incredible feeling, and I'm lucky enough to be able to experience that in Indy's dive bars and venues. Who knew that PBR and shitty sound systems could be so fulfilling?
